Rafael Nadal success

I went to a Nike promo tennis event for the U.S. Open today. Roger Federer and John McEnroe came in first from 10:15-10:30 AM. Federer only signed one autograph leaving and McEnroe never signs anything at all. Gael Monfils of France came in next and he signed autographs leaving. Li Na of China and Victoria Azarenka of Belarus came in next. No one asked them to sign. I got a photo with Victoria Azarenka. John McEnroe came back at 1:30-2 PM for the event with Nadal and Serena. Serena Williams came in talking on her phone and wouldn't sign even as I was the only person who asked her. Rafael Nadal didn't sign on the way in either. McEnroe shook hands when he left. Serena signed a few inside the court and didn't sign on the way out. Rafael Nadal signed up a storm on the way out and I was the last person to get him before he got into his car. All in all, it was a poorly run event; I'm just happy I left with a Nadal autograph.

nadal is a great tennis player so congrats on the succes, but this is a huge surprise that nobody else was that good of a signer nadal and McEnroe seem like really nice down to earth guys.

McEnroe is horrible. I've seen him two or three times, none of which he bothered to sign. One time he pretended like he was on his cellphone while walking to his car to avoid signing. Today a grapher cursed him out and McEnroe gave him the finger.

wow that really is too bad, i can understand a celeb having a couple bad days but to be such a awful signer 24/7 is ridiculous.
