SELENA GOMEZ: NO MORE DISNEY??

It's funny, of all the Disney girls, Miley's the one who's desperate to get out of her Disney contract and Demi's the one who needs to get out of her contract for the sake of her career.. didn't expect Selena would be the first one to leave.

Dats Tru...Miley DOES Wanna Leave Huh? lol I Forgot About Her... i think it would be a good idea if she took like a drama class or something like that...jus so she could MAYBE keep acting on the back burner like she said she was gonna do....cuz she is very talented so i dnt want her talents to go to waste...so never kno.

I've sometimes wondered what Miley's post-Disney career would be like.. no doubt virtually all her success was due to Disney and Hannah Montana. I honestly don't think she's that talented (average singer, bad actress), but her initial success with Disney might give her a career even if she doesn't end up doing anything special afterward, sorta like Hilary Duff.

I like Miley but I have to agree that she's not the most talented person in the world. I would say she has the weakest singing voice of all the Disney singers, she's quite an ok actress, but she's more funny than anything else. I have always thought she would be good with her own chat show as she clearly likes to talk! And I think it would be quite a funny watch.
And Hilary has the squeakiest singing voice! She is definitely more suited to acting. I couldn't believe it when she tried to sing! Just thought I would add in that everyone in India is obsessed with Hilary, while I was there her music was played constantly in McDonalds and Sony and she's on the packaging for all their gadgets.
Well anyway, Demi is my favourite Disney star Amazing voice, amazing actress, beautiful girl and so real and down to earth. She's a great role model for girls of all ages.

I've always thought of it as the other way around.. she's a decent singer, but the squeaky voice completely prevents me from accepting her as a serious actress. No matter what she does - put a scorpion down her pants, come out of a swimming pool all wet - the second she starts talking, it's like "Whoa, was that a mouse?". But I think that really speaks of how powerful the Disney machine is - it's been about 5 years since Lizzie McGuire ended, but Hilary's still a big name (showing up at events, getting roles, endorsements, etc) despite not having done anything noteworthy since.

Well anyway, Demi is my favourite Disney star Amazing voice, amazing actress, beautiful girl and so real and down to earth. She's a great role model for girls of all ages.

Mine too. Nothing against the other Disney starlets, but she is by far the most talented one out of them - to the point where it even seems like Disney is more of a career roadblock than a launchpad.

MILEY is the BEST STAGE PERFORMER...And SELENA IS THE BEST ACTRESS...And DEMI IS THE BEST SINGER.. Thats What I Think.....lol..Anyone Else?

I can agree to that.. though I'll also have to say that the sample size of Selena and Demi's live performances is so small compared to Miley's that it probably isn't possible to make a fair call yet, at least for me. Still, I think that Demi is a better singer than Selena is an actress or Miley a performer.

And I may be the only one, but I'm not really a fan of Disney turning all of their starlets into singer-actresses. I think Selena should stick with acting, Demi with music, etc.
