Amanda Seyfried - Authentic?

Hello all,

I'm hoping to get some opinions on a recent purchase I made, as I know nothing about the seller, but took the gamble as I really wanted this photo.

The seller is American Icon Autographs, who seem to be okay from what research I've done, but it appears their background is more in sports autographs than actors and actresses.

It's noted in the listing this was signed on 01/14/2009 in Los Angeles, and I did confirm Amanda was in L.A. this day at the premiere of HBO's "Big Love" series after doing an online search:

Any information you have regarding this company is appreciated, as I generally never buy from companies I don't know, but this photo is perfect for a Mean Girls display I'm putting together, and it's the only I've seen of this image that's signed by her.

The signature itself looks pretty good, but is slightly off from one I acquired that is definately authentic from Autograph World, so I'm more interested in getting your opinion on the company. I can always frame the one I got from Autograph World in place of this one, but as the other photos I have are all head shots, I'd like to frame this one with the others.

If it is good enough for PSA, then its good enough for me. Amanda is a very good ttm signer....you should print and send the photos of her that you really like (see google images) to her Allentown, PA address....Its a lot less expensive than $50 !! here's my recent success for a comparison of sigs:

I looked at the photos before even reading your post, and felt the one of the left was fake, and the one of the right was real. Then I read your post and saw the one of the right is from AW, which I'm sure you know reliably has authentics.

And yes, she does appear to sign TTM.

I don't trust PSA/DNA. There have been discussions on them on this site in the past, and they have been found to be very unreliable.

If I were you I'd try to return the item, and then get her TTM.

I agree with Dansautos,
I wouldn't trust the seller, I would try to return it,
And your best bet is TTM
