I'm confused...and a n00b
What is a SASE? is it neccesary? And also what is a SAE? Also if im going to ship ouy something like a mask how would i go about doing it?
Re: I'm confused...and a n00b
A SASE stands for Self-Addressed-Stamped-Envelope. It's a envelope with postage on it that we put in the mailing envelope so the people were writing to can reply. {thumb2} Some will use their own envelopes and stamps, but your guaranteed a WAY better response if you include it with your photos. {thumb2} Not sure if I can help you with the Mask part though, what type are you talking about?

You would have to decide whether to send in a box or an envelope big enough to put the mask in. It all depends on what risk you are willing to accept as far as potential damage is concerned.
You would probably have better success using a bubble or padded envelope as an SASE and enclose it in another envelope that is big enough to ship both the mask and SASE.
If you wish, you could ship in a box that is big enough to hold another (pre-assembled and pre-addressed with postage attached) box that could be used for the return of your mask. Also include packing peanuts or newspaper to cushion the mask and put your letter on top so they can see it right away. You might also want to write "Fan Mail" or something on the outer box (not sure about that, but the box might be looked at as something suspicous).
IMPORTANT: Just make sure you are willing to part with the mask before you send. Never send anything you can't replace, since a success is not always guaranteed.

Hey NotSoLongAgo
Self Addressed Stamped Envelope - An envelope with your address on and postage stamps that you send with your requests.
Self Addressed Envelope - An envelope with your address on that you send with your reqeusts.
SASE's are better than SAE's because then the celeb doesnt have to pay for postage.
Hope I have helped

Ok now I understand what they are but its just one envelope? like I dont understand how its going to have my address to return to and their address to ship to or is it just that I only put the postage inside and they send back their own envelope?

You need two envelopes. One is addressed to the celebrity (with full postage on it), the other (the SASE - addressed to yourself with full postage on it) goes inside the first envelope with your letter
