Just wanted to note again, that all the options include all the previous options before it. If you write to celebs you're a regular fan of (#2), it naturally means you also write to ones you're a big fan of (#1). So, pick the highest number.

Hollyoaks actors for example. Also, when you watch them on a soap for so long you get to grow with them and develop a connection with their character.
That fits under #1 or #2, depending on how much you like them. If you're confusing it with #3, that's for celebs you're a fan of momentarily.

I think the size of my collection answers this question  I've been collecting autographs seriously for ten years and I only have around 400 autographs.
I just find it impossible to write to people who I'm not a fan of. I voted option two as I sometimes write to TV show casts. If I'm a fan of the show as a whole as oppose to one particular actor, I write them all. however, I still write a sincere letter even though I'm only mentioning one role, I could never see a success from someone I'd never heard of and sit down and write them a letter. I just couldn't find the words :?

for me varies, I try to write to people that I'm a huge fan of and a regular fan, but I'm also try to be aware of who writes back and who doesn't. So I do write to people that I'm a "momentary fan" of but do intend on following them a little bit in the future. I don't want to get an autograph just for the sake of getting it, I'll admit that I haven't heard of half of the peoples names I see on the feedback page, but some fall into weird catagories, example, Lee Norris, is on "One Tree Hill", I've honestly never seen the show before, but I do want his autograph because he was on Boy Meets World, so some of these are a little hard to define.

If I'm writing to someone, I'm a huge fan. But I also divide into "people I like because of their actions in their profession" and "people I like because I think they're smokin' hot" as well as how long I've liked them.

BTW, magicdude, I went to school with one of the actors on "Boy Meets World."

I've noticed a number of threads in recent days of people asking for an ID on their autos.. I can't imagine how some people manage to write a whole letter to a celeb they don't know.

I think what happens is this, people send out several requests a week, and some takes years to come back, I send out at least one a week, and more if I have time and stamps. Lets say today I remember how much I love the movie Die hard and start writing to the cast. I would start with Bruce Willis, Bonnie Bedelia (his wife in the movie), Alan Rickman, Reginald VelJohnson (more famous for family matters). Then I would start to get well a little creative and start writing to the director John McTiernan, after that I'd write to that smarmy reporter guy William Atherton, after that I'd write to that blonde guy Alexander Godunov (for the record I believe he's passed away) and then the guy who played theo Clarence Gilyard Jr. Then maybe 6 months later I get an autograph from the guy who played the dead body that Bruce Willis through onto Reginald VelJohnson's car, I wouldn't remember who that was either.

Not that this has happened to me, I just understand how it happens. I don't write to anyone who I wouldn't recongnize.
