Can you purchase IRC's online?
I went to my local US Post Office this morning to purchase a few IRC's, and they informed me that they do not have any and it will take at least 4 - 6 weeks for them to receive any if they place a new order. So I also called every Post Office within a 30 minute drive, and none of them have IRC's either. So does anyone have any suggestions for other ways to purchase IRC's? I have a few requests that I want to send to Canada and the UK from the US, but I don't want to send the requests without paying for return postage. Any suggestions are appreciated!!!

Re: Can you purchase IRC's online?
I don't think you can purchase IRC's online officially. But sometimes, if you go here http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewforum.php?f=127 there will be some you can buy or trade for. It's rare, though. You could also try asking for them in that "Wanted" forum at the top of the page I just linked to. Finally, if you're going to be in/near a big city soon, you could find out where their post office is and plan to check that one. If they have them, stock up. Large cities are more likely to sell IRC's.

Thanks for the help/suggestions! Since I don't plan on being in a large city anytime soon, I'm thinking that it may actually be easier (or at least just as easy) for me to purchase or trade for UK and Canadian stamps.....but I am still going to ask my local Post Office to go ahead and order more IRC's for future use!!

If you are looking for UK stamps, I could get you some if you want.
