BRIAN MAY SUCCESS

Unread post by mymymy »

Today I met Musician, Brian May. Brian attended his wifes (Anita Dobson) last night at Calendar Girls in londons west end. I had no idea They were husband and wife until very recently :shock:

Well I got an autograph from Brian but he APPEARS not to be a very nice guy. I dont like to say someone is not nice just becasue of how they are around fans and collectors but this is what he said, not a nice or polite word;

"Why dont you people get a real hobby"
"you guys are really sad"

and to me specifically whilst signing
"wheres this one going", I asuume sugesting its going straight on ebay!!!!!

Anyway judge for yourself but I think hes a XXXXX

Yes, you're going to get a lot of celebrities that are going to cry out ebay. One thing I do that the celebrity appreciates is that I automatically volunteer a name for them to personalize. If you're a "true"fan then you won't care if the celebrity does this.

I know all about that and we did offer names (I always pefer personalisations) but he didnt want to.

I am mainly refering to the coments about our hobby which were uncalled for.

I met him once by a complete off chance, it was only me there (a Nelson Mandela statue unveiling in London) and he was very pleasant and signed an index card (which he very rarely does.)

But he can get funny as alot of the things he signs end up for sale. I think some of the comments might've been "joke" ones too.

I did sense any malice in his comments when i talked to him. He seemed fine about signing my Help for Heroes book, I asked for a card which eh said he doesnt do. So i pushed and he signed it to my friend Dave, who is a very happy boy at the moment(Big Queen fan). i think he was just busy with his misses and not really in the mood for autographs. But at least I got him so comments or not im happy with that :)
