STEVE MARTIN IN PERSON SUCCESS WOOP WOOP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am over the moon, not 2 hours ago did I come face to face with one of my favourite actors EVER!!!!!

Steve Martin is perfroming a one off show at The Royal Festival Hall in London. He arrived by car, bt instead of walking from the car and entering through the artists entrance like everyone else they took him around the back. We tried to get him but there was one security guy and unfortunately he just wouldnt let us pass, we could see the rear of Steves car sticking out the back of a driveway BUMMER!

Most people then gave up, but me and 2 friends did not, I was determined to meet Steve. We had a nose around inside and a few levels up we came across a room which had background lighting etc and set up for what looked like an interview. Could this be for steve? We waited about 15 minutes looking all directions and sure enough we saw steve come up the steps beneath us; it was so surreal, my idol, one of my fav actors, so wierd I have seen him in so many briliant films and my dream has came true.

I heard Steve isnt a a nice guy ip, we ask for him to sign, his PA , say, no, SIGH!!!, but then Steve butts in and says "I'll sign one each" (good for him- i love it when they think for themsleves and the PA dont control everything, I HATE PA's)
H signs for my 2 friends first then me, whilst signing I tell him just how much of a big fan of his I am and ask for a photo with if atall possible, he says "go for it" and its done. Although he only signed one, thats fine with me, afterall its steve martin and its more precious. I prioritised to get him on Planes, Trains and Automobiles becasue it is one my fav films ever,they jsut couldnt make that today.

Steve goes off and I dance off down the staris (literally) I was overy the moon, I made a bit of a prat of myslef but I just met STEVE MARTIN and I just didnt care.


IM SO HAPPY< HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can u tell?!

Such a great success!! Congrats! Planes, Trains and Automobiles is one of my favorite movies of all time! Steve is such a talented actor, writer and banjo player (surprisingly). Seems like you caught him in a good mood, that is awesome. Can't wait to see him and Alec Baldwin hosting the oscars

Steve ROCKS! I met him IP when he was filming Novocaine in suburban Chicago. He signed a napkin for me, I lost it though... I hope to get his autograph once again in the future!

Yes, he was there to play the Banjo with his band, had no idea till recently he was musical too.

He is an auwosme actor, for me, just one of those true living legends. A pleasure to meet, he rarely comes to the Uk so was so chuffed

Congrats! I am with you on PA.You might want to throw in managers and bodyguards too. I have had my share of rude managers or bodyguards.I know it's their job but at the same time the artist has a right to do whatever they want.

Well its the PA's job to ensure the actor does all the press etc and keep on time and the bodyguards job to enusre they are safe but they make there job go beyond that and will do anything for the actor NOT TO SIGN!!! Its like they think thats there job. Steve was on time for his interview and HE mad the decision that he would sign one each. Unfortunately very few actors can think for themslvees and like the PA to do that additonal job of refusing on there behalf.

Basiclly PA's are the devil!
