Basketball thread

Since there's a baseball one, thought I'd start one for basketball as well. What's your favorite team, how are they doing so far, and what do you expect this season, etc?

Being a Knicks fan, the season was over for me before it even began.

Yeah same here I'm a huge Warriors fan and it always seems like their season is done before it began.

Well, at least the Warriors had a good run a few years back. The Knicks have been bottom of the barrel for what seems like a decade now.

Lakers fan right here. I'm already thinking about them versus the cavs for the finals. Kobe and Artest VS. LeBron and Shaq....

How are you liking Artest so far? I was kinda surprised when the Lakers signed him rather than keep Ariza. Artest's a good defender and decent scorer, but his behavior and attitude can be such a turn off.

Yeah I think the Lakers are pretty much a safe bet for the western conference. But in the east I say its between the Cavs and the Celtics. I think the Celtics are a better team though.

Well, he seems ok so far...hopefully he will put up better numbers than Shaq this year so if the finals are Lakers/Cavs, the Lakers would have a better chance...

I'm a huge Celtics fan!! I'm hoping that they can go all the way to the Championship this year!!

I'm a very big Boston Celtics fan (favourite player Ray Allen)! Hope they can win the season.

Huge Spurs Fan and hope they can make the new pieces fit and go very deep in the playoffs and maybe even a ring. Can't wait to see when everyone starts to gel. Favorite player of course is Tim Duncan. Glad we picked up R. Jefferson. Maybe he can bring some excitement to our team.
