Bid For A Cure Auction

Hi,

I am relatively new to the boards, and wanted to share info on the auction I am putting together. I am working on a charity auction to benefit the Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. I did one in 2005, when I lost my aunt to inflammatory breast cancer. It was a very rewarding and personal experience. I have decided to do it again.

I have sent out over 300 letters so far, and I am just starting to get items in. The auction will take place in April 2010 via eBay.

Hi,

Today marks day 1 of the Bid For A Cure auction on ebay. I have approximately 120 items to list, from signed cds, shirts, scripts, photos, etc. 100% of the proceeds are benefitting Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

It has been an exciting journey to get this auction going. I would also like to say thank you to this board/site, and to those individuals who have assisted me in locating some hard to find addresses. It means a lot to have your support!
