Do Honor Blackman & Shirley Eaton charge for autographs?

Okay, so I'm just a little bit confused. I've seen Shirley Eaton sign TTM for free for some people, and others are told to go to her website. Same with Blackman, who I believe stopped signing TTM altogether.

Do you really have to pay $25 for their autographs now? :neutral:

I have seen mixed results with Shirley Eaton -- a few people have received free TTM responses (and I believe most of those sent cash to cover postage?), but many others seem to be receiving a letter stating that autographed photos must be ordered from her website. I thought about trying to send TTM, but the cost of postage to and from the UK from the USA has prevented me from doing so. I'll probably break down and spend $30 to buy one eventually.

And I have not seen any free TTM requests from Honor Blackman recently. Since she is my favorite of all the Bond Girls, I went ahead and placed an order on her website last month.....and the photo arrived this past weekend. Here's the scan if you're interested:

So I guess to answer your question, there is a slight chance that you may receive a free TTM response back from Shirley Eaton....but I highly doubt you'll get a response from Honor Blackman. Good luck if you try, though!!!!

I was one of the people who recently got Shirley's sig ttm without paying. She did send a flyer with her reply announcing her website and promoting selling her autographs. Maybe it was brand new at that point so she signed because the word wasn't out yet?. I had a 5 pound note left over from a trip to London so I included that instead of an IRC. It does appear that you will now need to purchase her autos from her website to get an authentic. Honor has had this policy for quite a bit longer.

I had gotten Shirley Eaton a few years ago on a James Bond card without sending payment. Honor Blackman also signed for free, but that was ages ago.

Both are big on the convention curcuit now. They were both at Memorabilia when I went this past Saturday and are very popular. I suppse if they're making their living this way now, they will stop signing for free!
