Has anyone had any success getting an autograph for Juan Gonzalez (a.k.a Juan Gone, most years with the TX Rangers)?

I have his from his days with the TX Rangers. Have you tried sending it "in care of" and his home stadium? Best done during season. I used to do it that way all the time when I was a teen. I'd sent it right on to the stadium itself and I got back excellent responses on many different players. Sometimes I'd get extra stuff like stickers and mini calendars too.

I know about writing to the teams and even the Spring Training locations. Juan G. is not an active player. He's been out of baseball for a year or more. So, I'm looking for alternative addresses.
