Bill Demott - sent sase, lor, 2 pics & a q&a card on 11/25 - received both pics back signed and personalized on 11/30. He also filled out my q&a index card. Pretty cool and FAST successes.

WOW!~ First of all, I went away for vacation for 6 days and returned to my mailbox successfully filled --- I had some real goodies and a VERY ODD Iron Sheik success.... Let's start with that one, as it cracks me up!!!! Ok, so I sent Sheik a Turkey Card (WWE Herritage 2) which was very nice looking!!! So, I get back these 2 cards sent back personalized to me ... Funny thing is, he obviously kept the card I sent him, as I didn't get it back, and insetad I get 2 signed advertisements for a show he did on 10-5-08!!! LMAO - Very cool looking cards he sent, but was really hoping I would have got the WWE/H2 card - NOW, here is the funny part - I sent him a note saying I liked his interviews, work, etc - and he writes back on the paper - "Please call me (added his number) signed Iron Sheik" - So, I thought about it and decided, ah, W T F, why not??? - So, I used the good ol' *67 to hide my number and he answered the phone!!!! It was surreal!!!! So the convo goes something like this = I said he wrote me the note and I thanked him for the signed pics - he said it was his pleasure and will send more if I want - Then I asked why he wanted me to call him and he said it was " to stay in touch " --- Something didn't feel right so, I said "OH, cool... just to talk and what not?" ... and he said YES ... THEN here it comes ..... He said something along the lines like "When I am around there maybe you give me 50 dollars to make 1 million" ... OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT!! -- I tried to listen hard to what he said but after he "50 dollars" - I was like "I thought so!!" - Almost as if he was asking me to send him $$$$!! Like I said, I didn't catch ALL of what he said but it was something along those lines. So I just kinda changed the subject and said "Well, thanks again Sheiky - I really appreciate the pics and wish u well" -- He was like "Ok, my friend, thank u" ... And that was it!!!~ ODD, No?? - Anyways, I got 2 nice cards, and a good laugh out of it --- I have MORE successes after this one, but here are the cards he sent:

BORIS ZHUKOV - Great guy - Very Friendly - also sent me some of him as Pvt Jim Nelson, but THIS is the gimmick I knew him as .... I really like this picture - Thoughts?

And one that I thought was LONG LOST - NIKITA KOLOFF!!!!! - This is so legit as my sister got me a book at his religious speaking program in Florida a few years ago - she met him in person and he signed the book Breaking The Chains.... Matches to a "T"!~ I am so tempted to send this to Dusty and have him sign it but would shoot myself if it never came back - I got 2 Dusty successes already so I am OK with it by itself - BUT how cool would it be with both of them on here????

Im still kind of new to this site so I wanted to ask you guys for some info ive set up a private signing with the King of Old School Steve Corino i want to get this info out to as many people as possible any ideas or sites I could promote on? thanks so much for the help everyone in this thread is always so helpful and I appreciate it! hopefully mayeb some of u will be interested in having Steve sign some of your items!

Great successes Mjr Frank Burns! Especially the Nikita one, it would look cool with Dusty on it as well, but like you said, it would be awful to not get it back.

Dusty is so great with his fans and reliable in terms of signing what you send to him. I think it's well worth sending it to him.

Another plus is the address for him is the place he works at on a near daily basis, so it's not a case where it might get lost at an agency or be siting around for so long someone just takes or tosses it.

Great Iron Sheik story. Asking for money, LOL. What a character
