How long is the average Via Venue wait?

Seems like a bit of a silly question, but i guess they send straight after they sign?

I sent to Alice in chains VV, and it's been 9 days now, do i have to wait 3 months ?

I put four 1st class stamps on my envelope.

VV can take anywhere from 16 days to over 100. It's hard to tell, but if you included photos and a SASE so they can reply you should be fine.

Taylor Swift: 90 Days

So as you can see it varies with each artist and how busy you are.

As everyone else on this topic has said, VV requests can take a few days to a few months to arrive with you. Some celebs reply to there VV fanmail at the venue and some forward the mail to there agency. They answer when they have time.

I've had one VV request come back 8 years after the fact. Most of them do come back within 6-10 months (as a long wait!).

It really depends on the celeb.

Depends also on the proximity you are to them. I waited 1 month and 1/2 for Bebe Neuwirth, who is in Chicago. I live in the suburbs of Chicago (about 1hr from downtown Chicago).

As the others have said, the waiting time can vary dramatically and things take longer to arrive at this time of year especially because Christmas greatly delays the postal system. I really hope you are successful though!
