Re: Personalized or Not?
I like both, If I get something back im so happy. I have a few personalized: R.l. Stine, Charlie Daniels, Judi Dench & Yunjin Kim. So either way don't matter to me. But when It has my name on it, it makes me feel special.
Plus I collect autographs as a hobby and am a fan of who I send too. I will never sell any.

Re: Personalized or Not?
does anyone think that if the autograph is personalized the chances of it being authentic are better? Or maybe it doesn't matter and it only depends on the person.

Waiting for many former and current US Politicians and Historical Figures:
Most Wanted--Henry Kissinger.(PM if you have one and want to trade)
Baseball HOF collection--40 and counting
2011 has been my best year for autographs over 300 in so far

Re: Personalized or Not?
if i had the choice, i'd prefer personalized. main reason is i don't plan on selling any of my autographs & i like the way it looks when displayed... i think it looks cool with my name lol.

Re: Personalized or Not?
I love personalised autographs! I think all my DANISH autographs are personalised. Many of my international autographs are "just" the signers name, and it's great to, but some - like Edward Hardwicke, Jerry Lewis, Shirley MacLaine, David Griffin and Clive Swift - have write MY name to. It's warming when the person thinking about me and my letter, and don't send me "one of hundred" pre-fabricated autographs. Maybe my nephew can't sell the autographs, when I'm dead, but it will be bad for him, when that time come!

Re: Personalized or Not?
I agree with most comments - i prefer my autographs to be personalized as i know they are for me it also makes me feel happy when they have my name on it as it shows they appreciate my letter, they have read it and for being a fan of theirs.
Re: Personalized or Not?
I voted for personalized, it is much more personal and makes you feel as though a famous person cares for you (although I realise most dont!) and I collect for personal reasons not financial.
Re: Personalized or Not?
I prefer plain autos. But include questionaires that I enjoy being returned.
Re: Personalized or Not?
always a bonus when u dont ask for it to be personalized, but it comes back as so.
