follow up after a success
I have been recieving a few responses TTM and email. I am wondering if anyone sends the celebrity a letter or email thanking them for the autograph or do you just go on to your next request. Let me know. I like to send emails thanking them if I can find one for them.

Waiting for many former and current US Politicians and Historical Figures:
Most Wanted--Henry Kissinger.(PM if you have one and want to trade)
Baseball HOF collection--40 and counting
2011 has been my best year for autographs over 300 in so far

If I get a success vie email I ALWAYS will reply back and let them know that I received the autographs and thank them for taking time to fufill my request.
And if I use an agency address TTM, I will sometimes call the agency and ask them to pass along a thank you note to the celeb. Most are happy to do so.

Re: follow up after a success
Personally with an email success I ALWYS send a thank you the same way as Ryan mentioned above. If they take the time to answer my email, sign their own photo, then pay postage to send it to me I feel it's very rude and ungrateful if I don't say thanks.
With TTM I only send a T.Y. note when they handwrite a note/letter, send me something of their own, or send me more than 1 signed item. I feel that's fair when they took the time to actually read my letter and send extras because they really enjoyed my comments.
Sometimes I actually got back another letter because of my thank you note.

Nope, I don't bother following up after a success. I always thank them in advance at the end of my LOR. I personally think it's a waste of money thanking them again.

Re: follow up after a success
Hello
Like others have said, if the success was from an email request then I will always send them another email thanking them and letting them know how much I appreciated it. With TTM successes, when I first started collecting I started sending thank you letters back to the first few successes I was getting but I soon realised how much that was going to cost if I did that for everyone I heard back from!

Thanks -Lil1- for the amazing set!

I thank them in advance as I don't want to waste their (or another fan's) time with sending another letter/e-mail.
