I sent LOR and SASE to Leonardo and I got signed photo today.

Sent: 29th October 2009 (LOR, SASE)
Received: 23rd December 2009 (signed photo in my SASE)

You should put it into light and notice if it shines. If so it's been signed by someone and it's not PP.
Now you should compare it with other autograph signed by him in person. I think that's the only way to understand if it is or not authentic.
