Sir Paul McCartney Failure =(

Unread post by ColoAlex »

Wrote to Sir Paul via venue in early November via his Hamburg, Germany concert on December 2nd. I included a photograph, letter, and SASE. I estimate the envelope arrived the last week of November, so the timing seemed OK.

I read here that that arena DOES pass along fan mail, so it must have been a deliberate choice not to sign the photo. Oh well, he's impossible to get except IP eh? (viewtopic.php?f=125&t=24711)

I think it is late enough to say that nothing is coming from Hamburg.

Sorry, Paul McCartney doesn't sign authentically TTM, and extremely rarely VV.

You can get a preprint from

Paul McCartney
MPL
One Soho Square
London, W1V
United Kingdom

You can also get a preprint from

Paul McCartney
380 S San Rafael Ave
Pasadena, CA
91105
USA

But, like I said, he doesn't sign authentically TTM. Good luck if you decide to write to either of the above addresses.

I have seen a couple of successes on here from his American tour last summer. I wrote to him in Dallas, but got a printed letter returning my photo and saying that Paul doesn't have time to sign everything sent to him. So he does sign VV, but rarely.

There are also about 5 or 6 unconfirmed home addresses. I've never seen any successes from those, though.

there were a few VV successes reported a few months ago, it could have been the venue, could have been him, if he had loads, he would prob just sign 1 or 2 or what he felt like then left the rest.

A shame, dont give up thu, try again with any othervenue in the future, good lcuk

This is the preprint that everyone receives from the MPL office address.

I'm going to send for a PP, but he rarely signs TTM, it seems that all or most of the successes are signed Wings items, Paul feels very strongly that wings should have been more popular, people have a better chance of getting that stuff signed than beatle stuff. He also rarely signs IP, partly because usually theres a large crowd and he can't or won't sign for a hundred people, but even when theres like 5 people, he still isn't that good about signing, he's pretty good for a handshake and a picture, but he does sell his sigs for charity, so he doesn't give them out alot, the more he signs, the less it's worth for raising money for charity, it sucks but understandable.
