Marilyn Monroe

Unread post by streicher187 »

Was going to sell this then reconsidered..

I received it from a cousin when he passed away. He worked with the goverment from the 1940's till he passed away in 2001 it was one of only 2 autos he had in his stuff.. it was the only thing I wanted and he was kind enough to leave it to me (there is another autograph from 1945 but not sure who he is)..

Anyway it's a progam from Nov 1952 for a show for the military in washington D.C. featuring Billy Eckstine, George Shearing Quintet and Count Basie.. It is signed on the top in blue ink which is faded pretty good now.. I included scans and have always wondered if it was authentic... (The program is still in tact but was creased at one time.. The pages are fragile while I took it out of the frame to scan it the back page ripped at the stlightest touch)..

This is the other thing I received.. It a post card from the movie studio mailed from the studio in 1945.. Not sure who the actor is can not make out the writing..

This seems too neat to be legit Monroe hand writing from what I've seen of signed checks & signed photos.......but I'm no expert.
