It really depends.I would say handwrite, to give it that more personal touch. It's possible to just type a base letter, then simply replace the names and films each time you write, and I do not think celebs would like that kind of thing, as it gives off the impression you want to sell it.However, If you have messy handwriting, then I would encourage you to type because you want to make it readable. And if you are a fan, I am sure that will be conveyed in your letter. Also, if your inclined ot be a poor speller, I would also type so you can use spellcheck :)

I've seen quite a few posts like this before,
I always hand write my letters, :D
But I do understand where people are coming from who say they type because they have bad handwriting. {up}

I like to hand write mine, my handwritting isn't great so I do see the appeal of typing, however it does seem a little impersonal, but typing does come with spell check, and without spell check I would be legally retarted lol

I always write my letters by hand, simply because it makes the letter personal (just like other members have said already). If I could choose, I'd rather recieve a handwritten note from a celebrity than a typed one. So I choose to write my letters by hand for the same reason.

I definitely handwrite my letters as I believe it makes it more personal.

However, if your handwriting is messy either:

1. Take the twime to handwrite your LOR so that it is neat and legible
2. Type your letter but sign at the bottom.

I have sent a pic of myself to certain celebs, those special celebs whos work has meant far more to me than I could explain, and I also have sent an amazing vacation picture of myself that I've sent because I feel like a certain celeb might enjoy seeing it (Mythbusters for example)

The picture is me driving over 2 cars with a TANK, heres a link
