I have Canon Ixus 80 IS and I like it :) That's the photo I made with this camera in summer 09:

Quick Google says Coolpix S630 has 12 megapixels.. never understood why people cared about megapixels these days. Sounds like a solid camera nevertheless.

Megapixels have absolutely nothing to do with a camera's ability to zoom.

You are both right. megapixels have nothing to do with the zoom features. the higher the megapixels means the greater the ability to enlarge the photograph without as much graininess.

thats not what i mean...i mean: after i take the pic (esp. @ a concert) if i wanna zoom in more than what the photo shows....thats when the megapixels come in...i know that zoom is zoom..but it does have a little soething to do with it....i know my certain camera... {up}
