yesterday i went to regis and wanted to meet jenna but when i got there they told me she pretape, so i decide to stay and meet sully. so i waited and another collector wanted sully to sign a baseball and he comes out and he told us no got to go. can't believe that, this guy is a hero and he doesn't sign. i was shock........
so i went to nbc studios to stay warm and i met my friend to pick up a photo and he told me where george hotel location, so i went over there and saw a few collectors and i went to get my friends photo and my poster ready and then i see george go into his suv and he didn't sign. so i decide to head on over to john stewart and wait for him there.
so at 550pm george comes in and he signs autographs and he sign alot going in and for some reason he skip my poster so i decide to wait for him to sign on the way out. when he came out he sign and yes he sign my poster. THANK GOODNESS i got him

That is weird...Maybe he thought you were an ebayer ( not that you are) but some people kinda freak out over autographs and think they are going to ebay them.Kinda lame I know...But it does happen unfourtunely.

Speaking as a long-time collector, Ebay has ruined this hobby. So many stars have stopped signing because of it. Autograph collecting was more fun years ago before Ebay.

I agree totally.Ebay has definitely ruined it for collectors and you know the funny part is if the celebs would realize unless you are say Brad Pitt or some other A-lister your autograph isn't worth much on ebay anyways.

the only thing i can add to the ebay thing, i been doing this for awhile and it's not just ebay now, people have other web sites and they sell that stuff to as well. Every time i go to letterman or gma or movie set and other places people it's way too much and i see why celebrites don't sign cause they sell that stuff. for exp the guy i was getting a basball sign, i ask him how man autographs he got from tom cruise, cause he s from boston and i see him alot at nyc, he got 44 graphs from tom cruise....i'm mean come on now!!!!!!!!!!!! i know he sell's it, but boy of boy 44. that takes the fun out of meeting celebrites. i was lucky to get 3 and a picturn taken with tom. it's not just ebay it's other web sites that sell them to as well.
