Nathan Lane Success <Addams Family Musical in Chicago>

Unread post by tapepool »

Two-time Tony award winner Nathan Lane appeared in Chicago at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre in "The Addams Family Musical".

I sent a PLAYBILL magazine to him requesting his signature just days before the show closed in Chicago. Two days later it arrived in my mailbox, signed. Thank you Mr. Lane.

Since the show has closed the address is no longer vaild for Mr. Lane.

:D

My first success for 2010 - sent 1/6/10 from Chicago to Chicago Oriental Theatre and received on 1/9/10.

Haha it was "Waiting for Godot". :razz:

The NY address does pass along fan mail. In fact, the stage manager of the Lunt-Fontanne is probably one of the best in NY. He was the only one to pass along my questionnaire to a cast member when I sent those. {up}

I saw the show in Chicago. See it if you can - it is awesome!

I wrote to the stage manager in Chicago looking for a cast signed 'bill. I'll let you know if I get it.

Congrats on the success!

Chewie, please keep in mind that stage managers change from show to show and are not retained by the theatre necessarily. Only the house manager who works in a different part of the theatre and house staff are continously there.
WONDERLAND:Alice's New Musical Adventure enjoyed a short, but sweet run on Broadway in Spring of 2011!

I'm glad you enjoyed it - listened to a couple of things, wasn't necessarily thrilled with it, but LOVE LOVE LOVE Carolee Carmello and Terrence Mann, so I'll DEF be seeing this when it hits NY!
