Writing to a "The Tribe Star" in NZ - Please help me :-)

Hello, I'm hope that is the right topic for my questions, if not, please tell me ...

I come from Germany and I am a great fan of The Tribe. So I want to write some of them.
I think the most of them don't get that much fanpost at the moment because they are working on other projects which are mostly not broadcasted in many countries.

Therefore I thought about sending a request for signing my photos with a letter (A5-page) and a page with some questions (which I would publish on a German The Tribe Homepage, if I would get the permission for that).
But I'm not sure if it doesn't seem too avaricious.

What are your opinions?
