Heya all
Was just wondering if its true that you needs to send SASE's to BBC address. can you help?

You should be sending SASEs regardless of whether they do or not.

It seems pointless wasting stamps if they send back regardless. I'm not a complete novice so I know that I should be sending SASE's with my requests, but with bbc addresses recently they never get used!

I've never had a BBC request come back with my SASE returned.

It's not wasting stamps to include them, it's polite. The BBC should not have to pay for stamps when they and the artist you have written to are doing you a favour.

I've read here somewhere on the forum, that if you send a SAE you will get also a reply, but adding stamps is more polite I think!

Does the BBC also send to other countries, like Belgium? I want to send a request for an autograph, but will it be enough if I send 2 IRCs or should it be more?

I do send SASE's but the last couple of times I've recieved a response without the use of my SASE and it just feels like im wasting my stamps when they send their replies in other envelopes with their own paid postage.

anyways I am only after hobly city & casuatly lol
