AM I CORRECT IN ASSUMING THIS? :)

Hey everyone!

Hope everyone is doing well...am i correct in assuming this:

rappers (female and male) are horribile with fanmail?

YES?
NO?
MAYBE?

tell me your opinions!

BTW i mean using an agency address.

I've only sent to one rapper, Flo Rida, and it was VV. I got a great reply from him, so it probably depends on the person. I would say "Maybe".

i would say maybe too, i saw some success from Sticky Fingaz, so i guess they do sign, i have some contacts with rappers and they are really nice with their fans, who excatly you want to write to?

that is sooo different....VV is easier...

Rappers are tough. They basically submit an album that they do at their own studios or locations of their choice. Then they tour on their own to make a profit. They make little to nothing on albums so they tour to compensate. Find their managers or the company promoting their tours (it's usually one they create specifically to tour) and try that. Or VV.

Snoop, Dre, Eminem, 50, Diddy, Jeezy, and most of the big name stars don't really sign TTM. VV is a possibility but again, a gamble. Rappers couldn't care less about fanmail or the Public relations end of business. They travel with their childhood friends, party before and after shows, and basically live a carefree party lifestyle. I worked at an arena for long enough to know what I am saying is true.

Ive never actually wrote to any rapper but I think are horrible when it comes to fan mail. But I have got a few in person success from LL cool J, Lloyd Banks, and P Diddy. So I think they definatly sign autographs but maybe not TTM

No, I would have to say you are incorrect with your assumptions. I don't think you can just simply assume rappers in general are horrible with fan mail. Just like in all other professions, it really depends on the celebrity.

If what you assumed was correct, then you would have to apply for ALL celebrities in all professions (actors, authors, astronauts, politicians).

No im not gonna assume that for all celebs because i have gotten replies back from the following:

Game show hosts
authors
POP singers
r&b singers
politicians
reality stars
talk show hosts
actresses
actors
gospel singers
models
jugdes

and i have tried rappers about 20 times and nothing. so im gonna keep my assumptions until i see some new rapper successes from people like lil kim, lil wayne, 50 cent and lil wayne.

Are you serious? You just listed some of the more famous rappers in the business. Obviously, the more famous the rapper is, the more difficult it's going to be getting them. The same applies in all other industries...
