And I know this isn't autograph related but I have camped out overnight to get concert tickets in the past!
What's the longest you've waited in line for an autograph?

The longest I have ever queued is just over 2 hours for Michael Parkinson and it was definitely not worth it

I don't regret a second of my time spent in that line. It's definitely worth it, as Stephen King is a LEGEND!khackdrums wrote:Never have I ever stayed in line overnight for an autograph. I might have done the same for Stephen King though.Beau wrote:21 hours? 10th in line? That's 2,5 per autograph. Wauw. I hope it was worth it, and at least personalized the autograph. Will Bozarth wrote:21 hours for Stephen King back in November. I got in line for his booksigning at 10pm, and I didn't get my book signed until roughly 7pm. That's around when he started signing, and I was 10th in line.![]()

I tend to only do book/music signings in person, even then once in a while. The longest wait was about 7 1/2 hours for U2 when they signed their U2 By U2 coffee table book in September 2006 in London. I was #61 in the queue, and only 100 who queued were added to the 150 fan club members, making up the 250 lucky enough to get their books signed. The did the same in Dublin & New York as well. I only queued about 3 1/2 hours to meet Bill Clinton and Stephen King when they did book signings in London (2004 & 2006 respectively), so quite lucky overall with queues.

Longest I waited for an auto was for Chaske Spencer. I got there early just in case... It was a 2 hour wait.. Not too bad.

Two hours after a Barenaked Ladies show for them to come out the stage door ;)
When I've waited in line for an actual autograph, it's not been longer than 45 minutes.
