Today I finally received my first success of this year, and from one of my favourite actors whom I've admired for quite a few years now: Rupert Friend!!
I've been a big fan of Rupert's since I first saw him in "Pride & Prejudice" (2005 version with Keira Knightley), as Mr. Wickham. 
I've seen most of his films ever since, and some of my favourites include "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas" (a truly fantastic film - a 'must-see'!), "The Last Legion", and of course most recently in "The Young Victoria" as well as "Chéri" (alongside Michelle Pfeiffer). 
I've been meaning to write to Rupert for about 2 years now, but it was only last year that I saw feedback coming from his agency's address. I kept delaying to mail my letter (a bad habit of mine!), until last month, when he appeared in the theatre production "The Little Dog Laughed". As I came back from class today, I found this lovely surprise in my mailbox, and immediately knew it must be from Rupert as it was from the UK!!! 
I was even more excited when I saw he signed & personalized my photo with an awesome inscription. Here's the details:I sent:Â A letter, photo and SASE.

I received my printout photo back signed & personalized from Rupert himself!!
He wrote: "Lizanne, Thankyou! Love, Rx". I just love him, he's a brilliant actor and seems so kind and thankful towards his fans. Scans:
