Re: PSA/DNA Company
Me personally I would only get an iteam certified from a company like PSA if it was a big name and I was concidering selling it. It can get pretty expensive Im sure to authenticat many iteams. I wonder how many fakes they pass with out knowing

Waiting for many former and current US Politicians and Historical Figures:
Most Wanted--Henry Kissinger.(PM if you have one and want to trade)
Baseball HOF collection--40 and counting
2011 has been my best year for autographs over 300 in so far

Re: PSA/DNA Company
PSA/DNA is great to have if you ever intend to sell your autographs...otherwise there is really no reason to do it. They do offer several services though at different prices. The more you send them, the more of a discount you get. For example, one item is $20...or you could send 20 for $150. They used to (not sure if they still do) offer a service where they'll verify an autograph via an emailed or scanned picture. It wasn't a full blown PSA/DNA certification, more or less they're opinion and you didn't get a certificate...and this was cheaper.
BUT, you do get a certificate and a reference number if you have anything authenticated that you can look up later via their website. Items that have been PSA/DNA certified carry more credibility than those with a COA or personal guarantee.
Try this, go on ebay and look up a baseball thats been "signed" by an athlete (auction, not the "buy it now" items). Compare the auction prices for those that aren't PSA/DNA to those that are and you can see that people are likely to bid higher. There are a couple of other companies out there that do this, but PSA/DNA is the Beez Neez..

Re: PSA/DNA Company
I have been wanting to send my IP Bill Clinton but I think I remember it cost like 75 bucks for him and that's why I have not sent it.
I will NOT PM you an address.
I will assist you in getting said address.
IE: give you pointers on where to get it.

If you get the autograph IP then there is no reason to send it away for authentication, unless you are looking to sell it.

Getting autographs certified is important if you want to get your collection insured. I've been thinking about doing this for some time now.
