You collect the Shadow comics eh? Which ones, DC, Dark Horse, Marvel, ect? I am big on the Shadow myself, loved the movie and the radio shows.

Hi folks, I'm a newbie at this, but I love your forum. I collect signed comics--mostly silver age, but really anyone that strikes me. Most fun in person auto--Ben Templesmith, he's funny and great to talk to. Best ttm--Stan Lee, thanks to you guys. Hope I can be a positive member of the club!

I first got hooked on The Shadow with the 70's series featuring Michael Kaluta's art. I've enjoyed pretty much every incarnation since. It's hard to pick a favorite cover, since my favorite changes from time to time, but I think Kaluta's covers on the movie adaptation are very well done. I also enjoyed the movie and have a few signed movie photos. My prize is an old pulp from the 30's that I had signed by Shadow illustrator Edd Cartier in December of 2008, two weeks before he died. The only series I did not like was the Archie version. I do have issure number one, but I don't think anyone who worked on the comic is still alive to have them sign.
Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men?

The Shadow knows!

Wow pretty extensive collection there! Lucky with the pulp. There is a pulp convention in Ohio I was told. I'd love to go in and track down some Shadow and some Weird Tales with Lovecraft stories.
