Heavy Metal?

I received an RTS from Anvil yesterday. I send to them VV in Seattle. My envelope has the standard RTS Not Deliverable As Addressed sticker but it also has handwritten on my envelope, "No Mail Receipt". Kind of a bummer but I had a VV success with them recently so I'll try them again at a different venue.

Their next venues that passes fan mail (in march) is the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC

Has anyone tried sending to any black metal bands? I'd really like to send to Dimmu Borgir, Darkthrone and Immortal.

I've gotten a couple members of Cradle of Filth (I know some people despise them), and all of DImmu Borgir VV when they came to the States.

Got Blake Judd of Nachtmystium c/o his studio around Chicago. Nicest guy ever!

I just got Paul Allender and Dani Filth at separate mailings, never the whole band. But each time it took well over a year for the response and they replied from England. Also, Sarah Jezebel Deva signs pretty well, too, but I sent c/o her other band, Angtoria in Europe. She wrote a page-long letter and sent a photo. Google the band and you should be able to find the management address.

Thanks for the info man. I wrote to Venom back in October and I'm thinking that one will take quite a while to get back if at all.
