I was lucky enough to meet Greg Land at an early show. Got him to do a Huntress Sketch for 30.00.
Saw him several years later and his sketches were going for over 100.00
About the size of a sheet of computer paper. I tried to upload some pictures to this forum last night but it wouldn't work. It was a really nice full figure drawing of Huntress. My friend got one of Nightwing.
I loved his run on Birds of Prey. He was also selling some of his original artwork.
Just an FYI for everyone. Marie Severin is a nogo for any autographs or sketches. I got a nice handwritten note from her friend today saying she appreciated my letter and would love to do a sketch for me but is unable to because of a stroke she had a few years back that has left her writing hand paralyzed.
Follow my autograph project on Facebook, just do a search for Panels and become a fan or use the link below:
I hate dry spells, but I am sending less do to the cost of shipping. I wish I could send more often but I send maybe once or twice a month now, instead of weekly.
I will NOT PM you an address. I will assist you in getting said address. IE: give you pointers on where to get it.
I got my signed Marvel Series 3 cards back from Erik Larsen. I sent c/o the Image Comics address. He also sketched a Savage Dragon on my fan letter and sent that back to me also.
I sent out Spider-Man #1 and the Spider-Man DVD cover to Stan Lee last week.
Also last week; Haunt #1 variant, Platinum Spider-Man #1 and Image United #1 to Todd McFarlane.
This week will be issues to Dan Jurgens and Rob Guillory (CHEW). Rob says he has no problem signing through the mail.
If any of you are in the Kansas City area, I suggest going to PLANET COMICON March 27th and 28th. This year will be huge.
This will be my 3rd year making the trip from Omaha, Ne.
I'm having a lot of fun, guys. I'm so glad Ethan Van Sciver turned me on to this forum

LOL sorry- at least you got Jurgens I have been waiting for him like 3-4 months! Also got a letter from Marvel in regards to JRJR saying he was not there- he told me he would be
Yeah point taken. It's not like I sent him priceless comics but after a month you start to worry about it being a lost cause. I did sent him a print of Ghost Rider #1 , just like I sent Joe a print of Captain America Comics #1. It looks great signed and framed
Gary will be at Planet Comicon in Kansas City at the end of this month. He was also a FCBD guest at Krypton Comics here in Omaha 2 years ago. Nice enough guy.

I met Mark Texeira 2 years ago at Planet Comicon. Unless you bought one of his 20$ prints, he'd only sign a few items. He wasn't very friendly to me until I bought one of the prints, a DAWN piece. Apparently JM Linsner wasn't too pleased with Tex doing a DAWN print, so supposedly I got the last one. He did sketch Dawn's tears at the bottom though. He personalized and sketched a Ghost Rider on my copy of issue #1 Vol 4 (?).
The first time I met Gary Friedrich we was still pretty upset with the whole Ghost Rider movie/royalties he didn't receive from Marvel and made it very clear he was upset about it.
Arthur Suydam is a prick. He would also only sign 1 item for free. If you bought 20$ in his merch, he'd sign an additional 5 items. He was just an over all jerk to anyone who didn't buy something.
Angel Medina was awesome. He did a run on Sensational Spider-man. Free Secret Invasion sketch cover of Spider-Man for me and wouldn't accept a tip. Said it was his job to draw and if I paid admission into the con, I deserved a sketch.
Someone you all need to keep an eye on is Jeremy Haun. Batman: Streets of Gotham, Berserker, Battle Hymn, the Arkham Asylum lmtd series and now Detective Comics. He's a great guy and his convention sketches are amazing. He even colors them. I've had him color several sketch covers I've gotten.
Tim Seeley (HACK/SLASH) is another great con artist. Met him in Iowa a few years back and got 2 sketch covers from him. Spider-Woman and Ghost Rider. In fact, I had Haun color the Spider-Woman cover.
Dan Scott is another great con artist. I got a DOOMSDAY on a Dark Avengers sketch cover from him last year. Really nice guy.
As far as lines ... I waited in line for 2 hours to meet John Cassiday several years ago in Chicago. Granted, he was doing sketches for everyone who asked and this was the peak of Astonishing X-Men.
I think I've rambled enough for now
