Hi,
What size of photo do people recommend using? Does the size affect the value of the autograph? Also, If I go for musicians, is it better to get a signed CD cover? Does that increse the value?
Cheers

Re: Im New! Question about photos!
Photo size is up to you. I use 4x6's mainly, but have sent 5x7's and 8x10's. Photo size can change the price of the autograph if you plan on selling it later. I don't sell any of mine so it doesn't matter to me. When writing to Musicians, you can send in CD covers, I've done this before. I also send them regular photos and custom index cards as well.

If your talking value, I would say the best value will be 8 *10
Best successes: Gal Gadot, Jennifer Lawrence, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Rachel McAdams
Best Responses: Freida Pinto, Gemma Arterton, Berenice Marlohe, Jeremy Renner
Recent successes: Connie Nielsen, Ursula Corbero, Daniela Melchior, Kate Beckinsale, Amber Heard

Re: Im New! Question about photos!
Thanks for your help guys! I've ordered some 8x10's. To be honest, I don't plan on selling any of them but you never know I guess! Happy collecting.

Ohh I thought you wanted to sell. If you do not want to sell, then maybe 6 *4 is the best value, as you pay less for postage both ways. But 8 * 10 is better to have, it allows for a bigger personalisation/insriction.guitargod01 wrote:Thanks for your help guys! I've ordered some 8x10's. Hey Guitar
Welome
Nice to see another music collector, we are in the minority here
What I normally do is send two 5x7s and a letter in a 6x9 envelope and a 6x9 sase, I am in america so it costs a 44 cent stamp and a 17cent stamp to send. The return envelope is a 44 cent stamp. If you are going to send alot of requests, its cheeper then sending a 8x10
The value might be a little less then an 8x10 but getting two 5x7s signed Vs one 8x10 will make up for that. Sending CD covers is great but be prepared to lose them if they dont respond. I have sent a fes CD covers to artists with a good track record for signing.
Good Luck
