Re: Wrestling Collectors?
Come on this is getting ridiculous. I got to Hogan's back on 87 Topps cards with one of them signed "stay strong." I'm not buying this at all. I don't care who doesn't like it. I just paid $40 for the TNA one and can't believe he's cranking em out like this.

Re: Wrestling Collectors?
Man that sucks. I have out to Val & Nikki right now, guess I won't be counting on them to come back.chriscollector wrote:ODB, Hemme, Val, Victoria, and Nikki all seemed to have stopped. Nikke gave me her address in person to send her some pics and she was going to sign a photo of me w/ her and send some TNA promos; that was 7 months ago. Maybe with the TNA Shop stuff and the signed cards management wants them to stop doing free graps? Just seems odd they were all good TTM now all at the same time they stop?
Re: Wrestling Collectors?
For what it's worth, here is my take on the Hogan successes lately:
I have 4 Hogan autos. 2 on books, 1 on a photo and 1 on a figure. Each one is different. I was there when he signed each one. I believe the recent successes are LEGIT!!! Reason being, he's home WAY MORE now. Also, he's one of the guys that always "got it". By this, I mean he loves his fans. Always has. Maybe his schedule just allows more free time for autograph signing now.
If you don't think they are real, that's fine. Don't send anything to him.

Just for the record, I appreciate all the comments - Good and not so good ...LOL - Thanks to Friendly collector for his great insight and actually taking the time to research it all. I know in no way did he mean anything but what I had asked for ... Real driven comments that made sense to me and all the Hogan stuff out here. I asked for all honest opinions, and Friendly collector just gave it all out there - I have come to the conclusion that this indeed a SEC autograph, signed by maybe Brooke or his GF - I really don't think it is real - I didn't from the first time i opened it and took it out of the envelope. Hogan may "Love his fans" like you said but I really doubt he sits down, personalizes his stuff and mails back - I really have a hard time believing that. I will not frame this one on my wall, but rather maybe keep it in my folder along with the extras or whatever - BTW, I have alot of extra autographs of wrestlers .... If anyone is interested, let me know ... thanks all.

thank you so much for your kind words

I agree with you: yeah, to me the autographs from that address are not authentic, including the very first one on that index card (it does match exactly the other fake signatures

I have been somehow insulted for posting my reply to a request of comments back then

Someone just posted that the autos are authentic. Well, I disagree but I absolutely respect that opinion. I won’t insult him for posting that comment.
Enjoy this great thread without pretending to be the owners of the thread.

Re: Wrestling Collectors?
I'm not saying I don't want mine to be real, it just seems shady. Hopefully they are. We may never know but at least I can take comfort in knowing my others are legit. It was worth the risk either way.
I hope the fighting on here does not continue though, expressing doubt on the legitimacy of an item is still a part of the collecting conversation at times and no one should get upset if they don't happen to agree.
