I wrote on my envelope for VV to taylor swift, "please hold until 4/6/10" I was wondering, do you think that the post office would think they were suppose to hold it????

I don't think the post office will hold it but what you should do in the future to be sure and not leave any confusion is write it on the bottom not top of the envelope and instead of writing : please hold until ??? write : please pass on to taylor swift "date shes performing here"

i always do my VV Envelopes like this:

The post office won't hold it, because that isn't something they can do. Additionally, I believe the only envelope instructions the post office will listen to are those marking the service type (Media Mail, Priority, Express, etc), so when they see "Hold until..", they'll probably just ignore it.

as long as it says the "ARENA AND THE ADDRESS" the post office wont hold it... there is noreason to be worried... good luck.
