Vintage and cheaper items

Unread post by dobie516 »

Last weekend I bought two complete newspapers, from 1974, at a flea market. I ended up finding about 15-20 items that I can send out to get signed. I'll always send out vintage items rather than newer printed photos if possible.

What are your views on this?

Not particularly worried if what I get signed is vintage or new, but it always tends to be the latter in my case.
Personally, I'm not a fan of sending newspaper or magazine clippings to be signed. I don't think they look as good as a photograph, and also for the fact that they can very easily be ruined, i.e torn.

I love sending vintage photos, old theatre/movie posters, etc.

I just got together a package to send to Debbie Reynolds. The items I have are all vintage from the 1950's. I'm sending a piece of sheet music, a magazine, and an old drive-in program.
