I called the PO of this set about 4 weeks ago and they told me to send my request to the Prod. Office and they will forward them to the actors.

I won't share the address because I've send a request out there, so don't ask.

I'm just quoting my reply in another thread: go spend 60$ each month on productionweekly and you can have all these via venue addresses as well. I'm not spending 60$ per month and decreasing my own chances of a reply by sharing it on this board. I've shared addresses with people here, but maybe I should also stop doing this and not reply in any of these threads anymore.

go on imdb http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1313139/ it mentions the companies behind the project which is Likely Story http://www.imdb.com/company/co0190175/, use google you will find this website http://www.likely-story.com/ they have an email contact you can write an email if they don't answer search for the other company which is involved Olympic pictures you will find their website they have a phonenumber listed start making phone-calls. I'm not from the US, so every phonecall I make is an international one. But it is not so hard to find an address if you really want it.

But the main point in my previous post was that if you have the address of the production office you can give it a try the production company which I called before told me they will try to forward fanmail to the actors on the set and I know there are people on this board who have this address, but who may have been unsure because of the above post from sponchild. It was just an response to the post above mine who told that there is no use in writing to the PO. I'm just being honest and tell that I won't share this address, so it is of no use to write an PM to me in this case.

Excuse me sponchild but you are wrong.

I have gotten MANY successes sending requests to PO's. I have had the PO hand my letter directly to the actor themselves. Or they have given it to their assistants right there on set. And the timing, and cancellation stamp, provide further proof that it was returned from the set and not their agency.

Yes, it is true that some PO's do not forward mail at all, or they send it to their Manager, or their agency.

That is why you have to call the PO and ask them if they forward fan mail. If they say yes then ask if that will be given to them on set, or sent to their agency.

Again, that is no guarantee of a success. Everyone has to do their own research and find out if the actor signs VV. Are they consistent? Or sporadic? Or do you want to take a risk and send to an actor that has been said not to sign and give it a shot anyway. I have done that too, and gotten some pretty amazing successes that way. But you have to be willing to take the risk to get it. That is all part of collecting.

It is also true that there are actors that sign "authentically" through their agency, and if they do that would be the easier way to go. BUT not all do. Again each person just has to look that information up in this forum and find that out.

If a VV addy gets spammed then it may be that no one will get a success, or only one or two may get signed, and then they stop after that. I can understand Kyrandia's concerns. That same thing happened to me. I decided to help out the forum with some VV information I had found myself and the addy got so spammed that no one got a success. The reason I know this is this topic had a large thread and there were a lot of people saying they were sending to this addy. BUT I saw successes after that, at other venues for this came celeb, when only one person sent a request.

Well then I might not post the Red Sonja address if I get an anser. Cause I have been tryin and trying to get megan fox for a LOOONG time. I am only going to give it to one person and maybe a couple of other people if they pm me. I do not want to ruin my chance and the other persons chances. We spend are hard earned money on celebs we love and then other people just write to write and the addy gets spamed.

Its not fair for the people who are real fans and did all the research for nothing basically. So I do understand now why people do not like to share addresses do not get mad you prolly would not either.

Exactly! I am beginning to think we should just shut this part of the board down as those who have addresses are becoming increasingly petulant, greedy, arrogant and spiteful. Those who inform us they have the address, but are not going to share it, are the worst of all.

All I was doing was passing on information that I was told by someone integrally connected to this particular movie who should know what their particular policies are for this shoot. I was not speaking about production offices in general, as each has their own policies. However, I shall keep quiet and people can do as they wish.

Sorry sponchild, I did not mean to offend you, that was not my intention. I did not realize you were referring to "this PO specifically".

However, I did call this PO and talked to them directly and they told me they would "try" to forward the mail. I realize that is no guarantee of a success, but they did tell me personally that they would try.
