Re: bubble mailer sizes
Unless you are sending CDs, DVDs, etc. I would not get bubble mailers. If you are sending photos, spend money on photo mailers.biggphilly wrote:just wondering what sizes some of yall use...shipping to and from the celeb. ill be shipping 8x10's only...

I just see it like this... If i were a postal worker, I would assume that anything in a bubble mailer *could not* be bent, and that since it is packaged like that, it's alright to do whatever with it. I don't know if that makes sense, but I think the risk of the photos being bent would be higher in a bubble mailer than in a regular photo mailer.
I recently found these mailers at a place called Freestyle Photographic Supplies: http://www.freestylephoto.biz/4121-Plai ... ailer-8x10?
I am supposed to get them on Saturday; I can let you know how they are when I get them.

Re: bubble mailer sizes
Well the 2 request I've sent I put between 2 pieces of cardboard, they didn't bend at all.
I've just noticed most people on here use bubble mailers so that's what I use

Whatever you prefer. Just seems like more money than you need to spend, but that's just me.biggphilly wrote:I've just noticed most people on here use bubble mailers so that's what I use
Anyway, as for size, 9 x 12's should work good.

What about 8.5 x 11's? I did a search for "bubble mailers" on Office Depot and they have a pack of 25 for about $20.biggphilly wrote:That's what I was thinking too, all I cam find is 9.5x14.5 tho. Seems a little to big

Re: bubble mailer sizes
I don't send a lot of requests any more, but I always used a cardboard document mailer as the SASE inside of a catalog mailer (basically just a large paper/fiber envelope). Shipping supplies- mailers or bubble mailers are incredibly cheap on ebay when bought in bulk.
Re: bubble mailer sizes
I don't use bubble mailers for photos. I use photo mailers, but a 9x12 should work fine.
