Removing Personalization??

Does anyone have an idea on how to remove a personalization written in marker on a photo? I have a signed item but wish to remove the personalization on it without damaging the photo itself. Any tips would be great.

The best way is to get a dry erase marker and fill in what you want to erase and then wipe it off. It works like a charm and I have no idea why! I have to do this fairly often as celebrities tend to butcher my name and only do it when it is really misspelled
