PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING ANY AUTOGRAPH FROM ANYONE
To put it bluntly, when purchasing autographs please let common sense prevail. This is key. Check a seller's history. If they have been selling a dozen things signed by the Jonas Brothers, 15 Lady GaGa's, and a months supply of Robert Pattinson/Kristen Stewart autographs, THEY ARE NOT REAL. Anyone who has collected autographs knows the truth. They are HARD TO GET, VERY HARD ANYMORE. 99% of celebrities will sign 1 autograph if you are lucky. It can take all day to get Robert Pattinson. It can be almost impossible to obtain multiple signatures of the Jonas Brothers. Many people will not sign them period, while all have at least 1 person in their entourage to close shop after your 1st or 2nd autograph. People selling REAL autographs of top celebrities do not risk losing them for $0.99 or even $9.99. In most cases, they only have 1 or 2 to sell. Finally, when a celebrity dies, his/her autograph becomes rarer, and if a seller sells them every 7 days for months after the celebrity has passed, they are not real. In addition, if sellers keep their feedback private, it is not to protect you, it is to hide this obvious history. Ask questions, ask for proof, and use common sense,. 7 day return policy for authenticity; as I said, let common sense prevail because that is not right. Get the item authenticated using Quick Opinion, ask me even. This is only my opinion, but experience is important in this genre of collectibles, and I have it to share and am willing. (oh yeah, and pre-printed photos are worth about $3, no matter who signed them.)
