If I were the celebrity and the letter was a genuine fan, I don't think I'd think it rude that they didn't include postage. I'd only reply if I thought they deserved it though; I wouldn't pay postage for every request I got.

I'd think it'd be "rude" if they didn't include any envelope at all and all they wanted was to get my signature. Even if they didn't include anything but a letter, if the letter was sincere enough, I'd show my appreciation and send something back with my own envelope and postage.

So, while I don't agree that it's rude, I guess you could say I'm kind of with you, but I don't think I'd call it rude, just cheap or lazy. But then again, some people can't get the postage or even large envelopes, so in some cases there's no choice.

I agree with you. But what will you do if you don't have any stamps at home because you can't buy them online as you have no Paypal/Credit card account? Others will say, send money to the seller but the problem is, like for example, our currency is Peso and we don't have any dollar/pounds. :D

Yes, I would say you are. Remember, the celeb is under no obligation to pay postage. If they deem it to be rude, then they can easily not reply ;-) If a celeb takes a "sase or nothing" policy, then that is also fine, and I can see why they would do it. But for someone like me, it is nearly impossible to get enough overseas stamps for the amount of requests I send out, and often there is no time to wait for stamps to be shipped to you. (in the case of vv)

I do not think it is Rude at all. if they have million of dollars(most celebs) and you send a SAE. why cant they use postage?? i do send SASE with ALL of my requests but sometimes i feel like. "hey we are the fans that watch you, and help you become famous you should at least pay some postage". when i started with this hobby all i sent was LOR's. which alot of them responded too. i really dont see a huge problem of just senidng SAE's if you want 2. I really dont know a celebrity that will not respond without a SASE and just throw a SAE in the trash because they cant afford 3 stamps. well since i live it the USA it is much different than over seas.

i just think that some celebs like (ROBERT PATTINSON, TAYLOR SWIFT AND SANRA BULLOCK) get like 300 letters a week..you cant expect them to pay for them all..Taylor Swift And Robert Pattinson's MAIN key demographic are young girls who only send letters and sae's (IF THAT) .so i just think thats kinda rude..if you want them to sign YOUR photo you should include a SASE...thats my opinion.

:D

Don't get me wrong, I always send postage. But I was just saying why I don't think it is "rude" so to speak.
