Halladay just threw a perfect game.. there's really been a lot of well-pitched games this year. Halladay and Braden with perfect games, Jimenez had a no-hitter, Cain and Latos had one-hitters.. probably a bunch of complete game shutouts I'm missing too.

And yet the story of the year so far has to be about Kendry Morales. He broke his leg jumping on home plate after hitting a walk-off grand slam. Apparently he missed the plate the first time and just had to jump a second time.

That's the story of the year so far? It's noteworthy, but it's not exactly getting much buzz.

When I said "story of the year" I was trying to be humorous. Oh, well.

Guess I missed the irony. Certainly adds to an interesting season so far though.

Almost had a third perfect game this year last night (Detroit's Galaragga), but the ump blew the call on the very last play. Interesting.

Luckily the ump apologized....I feel bad for Galaragga....

I hope Selig changes into to a perfect game. The kid deserves it.

They won't, and even though it isn't fair, it's probably for the better. Revising it would just open the floodgates to challenge all the bad calls that have been made in the past. This however could be a big help towards getting replay instated in baseball.
