Robin Williams (The Great Debate)

Unread post by MrDubbs »

Alright, I Know he's been causing quite the fuss around here lately with his signatures, so I wanted to post one I have to find out if it's real or not. The person I bought it from claimed to have gotten it , when he was in town filming a movie (can't remember which one)

Good. This is pretty much how Robin signs.

Thanks Bud, Ryco, and Tansk1

I agree it's not the best picture, but I paid less then $20 for it, and it's authentic; so I'm not complaining. Plus I think I may be one of the few who liked RV, LOL

I agree that it appears to be his genuine signature, and not the usual secretarials that he sends out, but at the same time, his authentic signature is unfortunately very easy to forge. Personally, I would be wary of any Robin Williams signature that was not authenticated by PSA, merely because of his signature's simplicity. The same can be said of Al Pacino's in-person signatures. They're little more than a scribble, and could be forged by anyone. That being said, your signature does appear to be authentic, though it may be a worthwhile investment to have it authenticated. If authentic, you certainly bought it for a great price. Congratulations.

I agree with Isiah. People that are so sure that the Robin William signatures obtained in the mail are real then go get them authenticated from a reputable grader. That way you'll be sure to know you have a "real" Robin Williams autograph.
