Obama Education Award!

Today at school I was awarded the President's Education Award! I got a certificate signed by him in blue sharpie. AUTHENTIC! So glad I made all A's my whole life...studying does help! But I can't post any scans since most of it I have to blur.

I really hate to be a downer, but I received this award when Bush was President, but there is no way the autograph was authentic. They give away thousands of these awards to kids all over the country, I have no Idea how he would have time to personally sign each one.

It's very possible you have an auto pen or a very well-done pre-print. But then again maybe you do have an authentic. I really don't know. But I'm only saying because I don't want you to down the line find out its not real and get extremely upset because you've treasured it for a very long time.

If you're curious, maybe compare it to some of the other awards given out in your class (if any).

Either way... CONGRATS ON THE AWARD! I hope you do have an authentic.

I have seen these awards. The signature likely looks like this:


If so, it was originally signed with an autopen. The certificate was then copied. You likely just have a copy of an autopenned signature.

Still something to hold onto though. Congrats on your educational achievements.
