JK Rowling because not only did I get an autograph but a bunch of stuff I'm forever grateful for and she is truly the one person I always dreamed of getting her auto, let alone meeting, or getting anything from. <3

That's tough, but so far, my favorite is probably Hugh Hefner. The total turnaround was lightning fast, a week. I just used the Playboy Mansion address. Wanna see it? This is a 4x6 that I sent him along with a silver Sharpie to sign it with. Never got my Sharpie back, but I'm not complaining. Came back in my SASE, too. I hand-wrote him a nice letter and drew the Playboy rabbit logo on the back of the envelope (not freehand, I used a homemade stencil).

My top 5:

1. Vincent Price -- my very first autograph. I was about 10 when he sent me a signed/inscribed Batman/Egghead picture.

2. Tom Baker -- This was a huge surprise; he sent me a total of 14 signed/inscribed pictures and postcards, and wrote me a very nice note. I literally jumped up and down.

3. David Warner -- signed two Batman Ra's Al Ghul trading cards and sent me an 8 x 10 of himself. Huge success as he's one of my favorite actors.

4. Burgess Meredith -- my second TTM autograph success. I was still 10 and read that he was in the hospital. I sent him a get well card (not asking for anything in return). I quickly received a lovely signed/inscribed Penguin photo. I then wrote him a thank you note and sent along a drawing I did of Puff the Magic Dragon (he did the voice in the three cartoons from the 80s), and I got back another photo of himself, and he wrote "thanks for the Puff picture" on it. Super nice.

5. William Hartnell -- the very first Doctor Who. At my first Who con I found a dealer who was selling a vintage 3 x 5 pre-Dr. Who photo signed by Hartnell, and I couldn't pass it up. Cost me $100 but it was well worth it (as soon as I bought it, another con-goer offered me $400 for it! But I couldn't part with it).
2014 Successes:
Tom Baker, Patrick Stewart (vv), Peter Cullen, Robin Atkin Downes, Jenna-Louise Coleman, Trace Beaulieu, George Lowe, Joe Dante, Willem Dafoe, Jeffrey Brown, Maurice LaMarche, Alan Oppenheimer, Penn & Teller (last success 10/14/14)

My Johnny Depp autographs are hands down my favourite.

I had sent him one photo to sign, and he signed & inscribed it AND sent his own Pirates photo signed and inscribed. This was back in 2003 via the "Secret Window" movie set... I am so grateful to have them as he is pretty much impossible to get now!

I think I would have to say my autograph from Philip Glenister - not only is he one of my favourite actors, but he's also the first person who replied to me when I started collecting 3 years ago :D

I would have to say my Betty White and James Earl Jones they may be some of the "easiest" to get, but a) I know they are real and b) I feel those two have a connection who their fans and care a lot about their fans.
