Awesome! I got an amazing reply from her too! Signed all my items and filled out my Q&A card. Later I ended up buying another signed photo and note!! She's an actress I would very much like to meet one day.

I have gotten some letters and notes back from sports players and from some comic book artists. I also got a nice long hand written letter from a retired baseball player (who I won't name because it is too funny what he did) answering my questions about his career and then telling me he won't sign things thru the mail because people "sell my autograph on google". He signed the letter at the bottom with his full signature. Almost as good as the ball player who sent me back a note saying he only signs for a fee, he too signed the letter.

I sort of got one from Ed Petrie. I recieved a little post it note with his autograph, where he was apologizing for taking so long to send it (it only took a month to arrive )

I had a running correspondence with Joan Crawford in the 1970s. She was an excellent signer and writer. I've seen letters that she wrote to other people and I'm always astounded at the time that she took to write back to fans. Don't pay attention to the Mommie Dearest personification of Joan - she was a great star!

I think it is fantastic when the celeb take times more than just sign the photo but also enclose a letter or short note.

The lovely Nicholas Hoult sent me my nicest reply... I sent my LOR on the back of an 'Astronaut Training' certificate, and he drew a space suit on one one of the photos... awesome! : ) He's one of my fave actors too!
