Errol Flynn Paid Success

Unread post by prettykittyjenna »

I bought an original warner bros. photo signed by the great Errol Flynn and Eleanor Parker, from 1946. I bought it on ebay, so the scan of it is all I have at the moment and it is a very blurry scan. Any opinions on authenticity would be welcome.

Thank you,

Jenna

Why would you buy it if your not going to pay for it?....I understand that it is blurry and you can't tell if its authentic, but in those instances don't bid. You should contact the seller right away and explain your actions.

If I had an authentic Errol Flynn for sale on eBay I would never use such a terrible image (The better the presentation the higher the bids go) ..so it is doubtful that it is authentic.

Well, I'm just worried it's not going to real. I'll pay for it.

Yeah. I'd be worried too! your seller has zero feedback. Its unbelievable that this item garnered 24 bids when the signatures are covered up by the reflection of the flash...especially in this economy (looks suspicously like shill bidding to me). If it was real it would be a steal at $250......unfortunately I don't believe for an instant that this is authentic.

I may have to contact ebay and tell them that I think I might be the victim of shill bidding then? And maybe I can get out of this.

As a seller on Ebay I really think you should buy the item if you bid on it. I have sold several items that went for really low and i lost money on and always sold it. There should be a rule that if you dont pay you get kicked off for good. {down} {down} {down}

I reported to ebay that I think I may have been a victim of shill bidding. So, I'm not doing anything till they get back to me. They emailed me back saying they are looking into it.
