I saw someone else get a response from Jones management that he was out of town and woudnt be able to sign again until may (this was a few months ago) so i had the entire letter and photos all ready to go since like March, just waited until May to send it.

I have another batch of customs printed, just have to get them out today or tomorrow.

Not me. After having Chicago, Minneapolis, and Indianapolis on the candidate list and choosing Orlando, I'm a little miffed. Waiting for it to come back to the midwest.

me too. I was REALLY hoping for Chicago, but it turns out that I wouldn't be able to afford to go even if it was in my own back yard lol

I assume the next one would be for the 30th anniversary of Jedi in 2013, and hopefully that one will be closer to us (and ill have a job and some money by then lol)

I have gotten a few signatures back in the last few weeks...

Got back from Alan Roderick-Jones today (assistant to production designer on episode IV, not one of the biggies lol).

also John Dykstra, Howard Kazanjian, Jimmy Smits, and Michael Pennington recently.

as always, scans are up on my flicker account...

Although I have been a HUGE Star Wars fan since I was a kid (I'm old enough to remember seeing the original trilogy in the theater, and I still have most of my original Kenner action figures.....ahhh, the memories!!!), I haven't spent a lot of time focusing on Star Wars autographs until recently. Reading through this thread has given me lots of ideas for people to send requests out to, though! I am also attending Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando next month, and I'm planning on getting as many "Empire Strikes Back" autographs as possible on an "Empire" poster, along with a few other signed 8x10's of some favorites from the other films. If anyone wants to take a look at my small Star Wars collections that I already have, scans are here:
http://jaash.webs.com/apps/photos/album?albumid=7633122
I purchased the signed photos from Celebration Japan and the David Prowse photo from a big sale on the OfficialPix website, the personalized Hamill 11x14 was purchased through a private signing he did for OfficialPix. All others (including James Earle Jones' signature added to the Prowse photo) came TTM.

For my Empire poster at Celebration V, I'm planning on getting the following signatures:
Carrie Fisher
Anthony Daniels
Ben Burtt
Jeremy Bulloch
Julian Glover
Alan Harris
Peter Mayhew
Robert Watts
....and Mark Hamill is rumored to be in negotiations to appear, so I'll have to add him as well if he shows

And I'll go for 8x10's of these:
Ray Park
Amy Allen
Caroline Blakiston
Jake Lloyd
Tem Morrison
Orli Shoshan

Anyone else going to Celebration V? Is there anyone I should definitely try to add that I haven't listed above?

Well, the others you could add to your ESB poster are Richard Bonehill, Mike Edmonds, Ian Liston, Jack McKenzie, John Morton, and Chris Parsons.

If I were you, I would DEFINITELY get John Morton. Honestly, I'm not sure you would get another opportunity. I wasn't even aware he did conventions until this one, and he is a horrible TTM signer. Chris Parsons would also be good, as he doesn't sign TTM or do many conventions. Jack McKenzie is easy to get TTM, but he's also one of the nicest guys in my opinion. It might be worth it just to talk to him a bit. Depending on your budget, you could try for any of the others too. Just my thoughts. And welcome to the board!
