Hey guys, I'm new to collecting comic book artists autos, so could you guys tell me what Marvel Comic's address is and if they pass on fan mail to the writers/illustraters?

I got my Todd McFarlane stuff back yesterday. Took 6 months, but he signed all 3 books! Spider-man #1, Image United #1 and Haunt #1.
And .... drum roll please .... I got the first envelope back today from the set of THE WALKING DEAD!!!. I sent director Frank Darabont and producer Gail Anne Hurd a fan letter, with items in the same envelope. I figured I'd give it a try hoping to get them both to sign the same comics.
I requested that Ms. Hurd sign my copy of VIRUS and Sarah Conner Chronicles Season 1, which she did and wrote a personal note on each and asked them both to sign the special edition of The Walking Dead #1 and the Image Firsts TWD #1.
My heart sank when I saw that there were no other signatures on the covers of the comics. I opened them up and they both signed the inside cover of the Image Firsts edition and the page where Rick wakes up from his coma in the special edition.
That means the address I got was the right one and they are signing via venue!!!!

Any suggestions on what to do with comics signed with paint pens? On one of the comics Todd McFarlane signed for me a couple of weeks ago, I discovered to my horror that some of the signature has rubbed off on the mylar bag. I took the comic out and thought it had enough time to dry; any idea what to do to preserve the signature? It still looks fine because the pen he used must have given some very thick ink.

That's really odd ... Todd signed all my books in paint pen. The green signature on my platinum Spider-man #1 looks awesome. Sorry yours didn't turn out

I also got my Chris Bachalo stuff back last week. He signed one of the back boards, like I requested and drew Wolverine on an other. Blew me away. Awesome work.

I asked him for a superhero team up and got this. I am happy as a nerd on new comic book day or Wednesday to the regular ppl.

Does anyone own any rare issues? Recalls and errors or 1 of 250 variations?

I just bought a double cover issue of the new Darkwing Duck #1. I got it for under 15 bucks

I also own a copy of Action Comic #869 RECALLED Beer Cover Variant that I got CGC'ed. It got a 9.6. A 9.8 is on eBay for about 100 bucks.

I got a copy of Captain America: Reborn #2 1:125 Cassaday Sketch Variant at cover price cause the shop had a few and I got it off the rack. Sells for 50-100 bucks on eBay.

I don't want to chase after all 10 variants that Marvel puts out of an issue, just the good ones. I really dislike the lets put a character who has nothing to do with the book variant IE:Deadpool variants

Got back my 2 signed pics from Hulk 181 and a Hulk Sketch from Herb Trimpe. He even added an extra stamp.

As far as rare issues I have a 9.4 grade issue of Avengers Annual #10 which was the first appearance of Rogue in comics. As well as another one that is 9.0-9.2ish.
