does anyone feel happy knowing that the celeb has touched the picture they signed. that their fingerprints are on there somewhere. i know its stupid, but it justs makes me smile thats all!

No it does not make me happy.

Autograph collecting is a hobby of mine. It is not meant to be anything for profit nor beyond my enjoyment. I only send out to people I have deep respect for in their profession/field. I send out to the following but not limited to: professional/college athletes/coaches, actors/actresses from TV shows, artists/authors, voice actors/actresses, and any other random celebrity I love/respect. I try to respect everyone's privacy the best I can.

Feel free to private message me about anything. I'm always willing to help if I can. Just do not demand addresses/advice. Be chill about it and I'll definitely be of some help! Aggression and entitlement gets nothing.

Best advice I can give everyone about autograph collecting through the mail are the 3 P's:

BE POLITE!!!
BE POSITIVE!!!
BE PATIENT!!!

You get an autograph and you know the celebrity has taken the time to sign that photo for you! I guess that means I'm glad the celebrity has touched the photo lol! :)

And i dont think it stupid, im am slightly happy they have touched it, but i feel more happy when they personlise or write something special on an autograph, or even send a letter back as it shows they have read what you have wrote.

I get autographs for collectibility...most sports autographs. Its just a cool hobby. Not saying you are crazy, but I think feeling the gitters or giddy because a celeb touched your picture is a little obcessive. Just my opinion...I don't feel that way, sorry.

hahaha, this comment made me laugh! :lol:

I don't get "jittery" thinking about how they've touched it, but to know that they actually took the time to sign MY photo.. its really neat and definitely does get me cheery when I think about it. It's a really cool hobby. And to anyone that says it doesn't make them happy, what do you collect for? :roll:

Yeah, haha something were I always thought! I get exceited that they signed it, touched the photo and touched the envelope! :P
